Wild front man of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, made the decision to attend rehabilitation in 2009 due to his narcotics addiction. Tyler attributes his addiction on decades of being a musician and the resulting physical accidents that he obtained as a result. This happened to be Tyler’s 2nd visit to rehabilitation. The rehab program occurred in ‘86 because Tyler fought a illegal drug addiction. He overcame that life altering addiction.
Tyler went to rehab for the second time with the devotion and support of his family members, including his daughter, Liv. Knowing you have the unconditional assistance of your family rooting for you during a rehab stint is helpful importantance. He begrudgingly had the support of his band mates, most who were very upset about his clumsy fall falling off the stage during a performance in 2009. The band thought to replace him unless he became sober. He successfully battled his addiction to drugs and finally went on to become a well known judge on American Idol.
